Dear brothers and sisters of the great family of the JCI:

The JCI Puerto Rico feels extremely joyful and proud to be the host of the 2009 JCI Conference of the Americas, event that year by year reunite thousands of people proceeding from many countries, celebrating the opportunity to join the best youth organization on the world, the JCI. Since the historic World Congress, accomplished in the year 1990, the JCI Puerto Rico has not had the opportunity to organize an event of this magnitude. Now, as in that occasion, the Conference Organizer Committee (C.O.C), is working with great eagerness in order to give our brothers and sisters of the JCI their best experience at an international level

The capability, commercial fair, assemblies, meetings and parties are being minutely planned to delight our assistances. Come and discover why Puerto Rico is the place “Where the Continents Merge”. In our Island the “taino”, Spain, African, Latin American and USA cultures mix all together in a harmony way, succeeding in a joyful and fascinating idiosyncrasy that compose all Puerto Ricans.
On the other hand, it is strategically located in the terrestrial globe (between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea), which makes Puerto Rico the entrance and natural meeting point between North, Central and South America, Europe and Africa. Definitely, our Island was destined by God to be the place “Where the Continents Merge”. The date is from the 6th to the 9th of May 2009, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Together we will live the joyful experience of meeting, learning, sharing and, most of it, celebrating that we are part of the great JCI family.
